F1 | Space for the virtual Chinese GP on Sunday
Leclerc, Russell, Giovinazzi, Norris, Albon and Latifi present. Debut for Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois
The virtual Chinese Grand Prix will take place on Sunday 19 April and will take place on the same day as the real one, postponed like other world championship events due to the Covid-19 emergency. Among the Formula One drivers involved in this GP are Charles Leclerc (winner of the virtual Australian GP), George Russell, Antonio Giovinazzi, Lando Norris, Alex Albon and Nicholas Latifi.
Among the participants there is also Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who is making his personal debut in this championship and will take to the track driving for Red Bull. For the Belgian goalkeeper it is not the first participation in a virtual race, as he is involved in the Race for the World which will play its final round tomorrow, Friday 17 April.
The live broadcast of the virtual Chinese GP will be available on the official Formula 1 YouTube, Twitch, Weibo and Facebook channels starting from 19pm (Italian time). The drivers will first take part in the qualifying session, to outline the starting grid, and then they will compete in the race which will consist of 28 laps.
