During the third free practice session valid for the Austrian Grand Prix, the inaugural event of this 2020 Formula 1 World Championship, Matteo Bobbi explained how the DAS system works, underlining how Mercedes use the “mobile steering wheel” to speed up the temperature of the front tyres, especially those made of harder compounds.
Despite the protest of Red BullLet's remember that the world champion team managed to get the green light from the Federation, an aspect that will allow Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas to take advantage of the system as early as this afternoon's race.
