F1 | Coronavirus: Liberty Media confirms the postponement of appointments in Bahrain and Vietnam
We will return to racing in Holland, virus permitting
di Roberto ValentiMarch 13, 2020
The decision comes after yesterday's extraordinary meeting
Through a press release issued this morning, the FIA and Liberty Media announced the postponement of the upcoming Bahrain and Vietnam Grands Prix, the second and third rounds of this 2020 Formula 1 World Championship.
Due to the emergency linked to the spread of COVID-19, the organizers have chosen to postpone the next events on the calendar, postponing the debut of teams and drivers on the track to Europe.
The first valid date, precisely in this sense, should be the Dutch Grand Prix in May, emergency permitting, given that Liberty Media reserves the right to adopt new changes to the calendar.
This morning's decision, we remember, comes after the cancellation of the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. Further updates will follow.
