F1 | DRS zones confirmed for the Mexican Grand Prix
Two zones available for overtaking
di Roberto Valenti24 October 2017
The International Federation has made official the points where it will be possible to exploit the DRS system in the Mexican Grand Prix, the twentieth round of the 2016 Formula One World Championship.
The device can be used in two points on the track and the zones will be positioned on the main straight of the Mexico City track and in the stretch that leads from turn 3 to turn 4.
The FIA has also decided to activate a detection cell which will be positioned at the exit of turn 15.
We remind you that in the free practices on Friday, the areas of use will be the same as those in the race, obviously without the rule of one second of separation from the car in front. The same goes for qualifications.
