F1 | DRS zones confirmed for the Bahrain Grand Prix

The International Federation has made official the points where it will be possible to exploit the DRS system in the Bahrain Grand Prix, the third round of the 2017 Formula One World Championship. The device can be used in two points on the track and the zones will be positioned on the main straight and on the opposite straight that leads from turn 10 to turn 11. Note that each zone will have its own activation point.

The detection cells will in fact be positioned before turn 15 and between turns 9 and 10. The FIA has therefore decided to confirm the zones used in 2017, re-proposing a setup that provided so much entertainment last year. We remind you that the areas of use in free practice will be the same as those in the race, obviously without the one second gap rule from the car in front.

The same goes for qualifications.
