F1 | Sensational: Honda leaves Formula 1 at the end of 2021

Sensational turn of events at Honda: through a press release made official this morning, the Japanese company has made official its farewell to Formula 1 at the end of the 2021 world championship. It is an unexpected blow, almost a bolt from the blue, which changes radically the balance within the paddock, especially as regards Red Bull and AlphaTauri, exclusive partners of the Japanese brand.

The Japanese engine engineer, involved in the Circus since 2015, has chosen to end his project prematurely, renouncing the technical and economic revolution expected for 2022. It now remains to be understood what type of moves Red Bull and AlphaTauri will carry forward, given that both were counting on a collaboration that in the last two years has given a lot of satisfaction, especially in terms of growth and getting closer to the leadership occupied by Mercedes.
