Liberty Media aims to have an increasingly full calendar of events
The 2021 Formula One calendar will be made up, pandemic permitting, of 23 events including the new entry Saudi Arabia.
A record for the Circus which in the future could even see the number of races increase, rising up to 24 as underlined by the outgoing CEO Chase Carey, replaced in January by Stefano Domenicali, in a teleconference held in the last few hours with some investors.
"Many places where we have raced this year have expressed great interest in the new races and other countries are more interested than ever – Carey admitted – We hope to move to a 24-race calendar in the next few years and will likely rotate some races so we can accommodate new partners".
