F1 | 2020 calendar, Hamilton against Zandvoort's choice

In an interview given on the sidelines of the last British Grand Prix, the tenth round of this 2019 Formula 1 world championship, Lewis Hamilton spoke about the formation of the calendars by Liberty Media, underlining how teams and drivers should have a greater say in chapter.

According to what the Englishman declared, in fact, the entry of some events (one above all Zandvoort.ndr) will certainly not favor the spectacle on the track, given that the tracks in question will offer authentic toy trains.

Despite the changes promoted by the organizers, we remember, the Dutch circuit will be narrow and tortuous, especially in the central part. Obviously we are talking about characteristics that do not match those of modern Formula 1 cars.

“We know better than anyone which tracks we can overtake and which we can't,” said Lewis Hamilton. “I don't know who makes this selection, but the choices made certainly don't go in the direction of the show.”

“You have to have preferences”, added the Englishman. “Do we want a race in certain countries just for the sake of having it, or do we want to have a calendar with exciting events?”.
