F1 | Happy Birthday Sir Frank!

It is a day of celebration not only at Williams but also for the entire Formula One universe. In fact, today is the birthday of Sir Frank Williams who turns 78. The world of racing has always been in the destiny of Sir Frank who, after his fluctuating experiences as a driver and manufacturer, in 1977 decided to found the team that still bears his name today. It will prove to be a winning project.

In fact, the results achieved by Williams in these forty years are nothing short of incredible. The British team currently boasts 9 Constructors' World Championships (second only to Ferrari which boasts 16), 7 Drivers' World Championships, 114 victories, 33 doubles, 312 podiums and 128 pole positions.

As a good family man, Sir Frank has always been at the side of his team, despite being quadriplegic since 1986 due to a car accident in France, but since 2017 he has had to limit his movements and travel. However, this did not prevent him from being present in his home race at Silverstone last year, where Lewis Hamilton gave him the thrill of driving a lap of the track in a Mercedes S63 AMG.

The greatest wish we can address to Frank Williams is to continue to enjoy good health, in order to be able to see his single-seaters battling for the top positions in the standings again. Happy birthday legend!
