F1 | Briatore: “Ferrari is missing a leader”
"They had great drivers and they didn't win anything, there must be a reason"
Regarding the current crisis facing the Maranello team, former supreme Bernie Ecclestone has named Flavio Briatore as the best candidate to replace the current team principal, Mattia Binotto.
The Italian entrepreneur agrees in recognizing that the problems originated within Ferrari:
"There are people who always follow the difficult path, the most complicated roads -said Briatore to Betway- and this is the case of Ferrari."
“Ferrari has an important business and a spectacular name, any driver would like to drive for them for two or three years. But then the track speaks, they have had problems for years. They had great drivers and didn't win anything, and there must be a reason. The main reason is that Ferrari does not have clear leadership and if there is no leader, not everyone is pushing in the same direction. If that direction is set by three, four or five people, the results are what they are. At this moment Ferrari is not the real Ferrari."
