F1 | Brawn looks to the future: “We want to organize 17 or 18 races”

Despite the current emergency linked to the spread of the Coronavirus, Liberty Media will try to close the 2020 championship with 17 or 18 Grands Prix under its belt.

According to what Ross Brawn declared to Sky Sports F1 HD, the intention of the US organization is to give up the summer break scheduled for August, so as to make up as many events as possible in the second part of the season.

“We will take a break and take the opportunity to think about everything,” said Ross Brawn. “We can move the postponed races towards the end of the season, perhaps removing the August break. I expect a new calendar for the rest of the season. It will definitely look different, but a good number of races will be retained. I'm quite optimistic that we will be able to organize 17 or 0 races this year."
