F1 | Bottas: “A lot of work to do for Mercedes in Baku”

Sixth and second fastest time for Valtteri Bottas and Mercedes in Friday's Free Practice for the Azerbaijan Formula 1 GP. In Free Practice 1, the Finn said he was very unhappy with the car, while in Free Practice 2 the changes made to the setup gave good results.

“Free practice 1 was quite difficult: we struggled with the set-up of the car, it wasn't well balanced” declared Bottas. “Today, we needed to do several laps in a row to get the tires up to temperature and get a good balance. FP1 wasn't a positive session, but we made some changes before FP2 and the car definitely felt a lot more comfortable. We are going in the right direction and hope to take yet another step forward tonight. We will work hard and if we manage to improve where required we will be there to fight for pole position" concluded Bottas.
