Valtteri Bottas does not intend to give too much weight to the many rumors that are circulating about the renewal of Lewis Hamilton with the Mercedes for the 2021 season of formula 1. The Finn is working to finally beat his teammate, an aspect that is leading him to ignore all the "off-track" events of this winter.
Valtteri, we remember, will run this year for the Mercedes, but he has no guarantee of remaining in the team in 2022, a factor which will obviously have to lead him to take advantage of any opportunity that comes his way.
“Obviously I have one goal and that is to beat my teammate,” said Valtteri Bottas. “Let it be Lewis or any other driver it doesn't matter. Every driver in formula 1 it is a very serious and strong contender. No one should be underestimated. Personally I prefer to focus on myself."
