Three DRS zones for the first weekend in Bahrain
The International Federation has made official the points where it will be possible to exploit the DRS system in the Bahrain Grand Prix, the second round of the 2019 Formula 1 World Championship.
The device can be used in three points of the track and the sectors will be positioned in the main straight of the Sakhir International Circuit, in the opposite straight that leads from 10 to 11 and in the stretch that goes from turns 3 to 4.
Note that each zone will have its own activation point, given that the detection cells will be positioned before curve 15, between 9 and 10 and immediately after 1.
With this change, every straight of the Bahrain circuit will be equipped with a DRS sector, an aspect that will almost certainly increase the spectacle on the track.
