Despite the dirty track and the wind which slowed down the teams' work programme, Sebastian Vettel passed the data collected by the team with flying colours Aston Martin on the first day of pre-season testing on the track Sakhir. At the wheel of AMR21, the German said he was satisfied with the performance shown on the flying lap and race pace, drawing very positive indications for what concerns the continuation of three days of work.

The four-time world champion will return to the wheel of the single-seater in tomorrow's session, an aspect which on paper should help the team to collect as much data as possible for the development to be carried forward in view of the Bahrain Grand Prix, the inaugural round of the next 2021 world championship formula 1.
