In a chat given to the microphones of Sky De, Sebastian Vettel he talked about the sensations he felt behind the wheel of the new one AMR21, the car with which Aston Martin will face the next 2021 world championship formula 1, highlighting how this year's technical package is profoundly different compared to the one used with Ferrari in 2020.

According to the German, the English single-seater offers completely different behaviour, especially in terms of feeling at the rear, an aspect which will obviously force him to adopt his own driving style. Despite this, however, the four-time world champion said he was quite optimistic, highlighting how the potential of the single-seater can help the drivers battle for the top positions in the standings (the objective is to compete for third place in the constructors' championship with Alpha Tauri, McLaren, Ferrari e Alpine).

“The three days of testing in Bahrain was interesting,” said the German pilot. “The track conditions were quite difficult, especially due to the dirt. The rear slipped a lot. Despite this, however, I think I have learned many things about the single-seater. There are things I have to get used to, also because the behavior of the package was quite different compared to those I've had in the past, both in braking and acceleration. The steering is also different. We need to sort out some things and there is still a lot of work to do, but in general I would say that we have managed to collect important data that will be useful to us."
