F1 | Aston Martin, Vettel on the future: “I'm talking about it with the team”

For a few days now, rumors have been unleashed regarding the future of Sebastian Vettel and a possible farewell of the German from Aston Martin. The four-time world champion, during the press conference on Thursday in Monza, wanted to clarify these rumors by underlining how the issue of the renewal is currently underway with the team. Vettel himself admitted that an answer on the continuation of his career will arrive very soon.

"I'm talking to the team, obviously, and I think we'll have an answer very soon but there's nothing new right now – declared Vettel, quoted by GPFans – I really enjoyed working with the team and the atmosphere is fantastic. I believe the future of this team is very bright. I'm not worried and I feel like we'll have an answer soon. In general, I've never talked much about contracts and I think it's also written in the contract that you shouldn't talk about them, so I'm afraid I can't give more information".
