F1 | Aston Martin, Vettel: “I wasn't sure of the behavior of the car”

For Sebastian Vettel the first two free practice sessions at Spa were not very positive. The fifteenth position achieved in both PL1 and PL2 demonstrated how the Aston Martin German struggled especially in his feeling with the car, unlike what Stroll did. There's still a whole weekend to recover, with the fourth-time world champion eager to finish on a high in his final Spa.

“It's always nice to drive here and in any condition – Seb said. I struggled a bit in the second session, I wasn't very sure of the car's behavior but I'm convinced that Saturday will be better. The sessions were mostly in the dry, but today's mission was to find a feeling with the car. In the evening we will take a look at the data and I am sure that we will make an important step forward in view of qualifying."
