"Very different track than Bahrain," said the German
For Sebastian Vettel the Imola weekend will be very important. The German made a poor debut with Aston Martin in Bahrain, and only managed to scrape together penalties and points less on his super licence, as many as five in just half a day. The former Ferrari driver is well aware of how a difference can be made at the Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari, but he needs to put everything together to bring home a performance worthy of the name after the flop of his debut in green.
“Happy to start this weekend – Vettel said. Fortunately we had a bit of a gap between the first two races, but the calendar this year will not always be so forgiving, and this has given us more opportunities to look at the data and understand where we need to improve the AMR21. As a track, Imola is a very different challenge to Bahrain: it's a track where you can really make a difference, so I can't wait to get started."
