F1 | Aston Martin, Stroll in sixth row: “Shame about the red flags”

Lance Stroll will start from the sixth row in the Dutch Grand Prix. The Aston Martin driver is among the unlucky ones who were unable to complete the last attempt of Q2 due to the red flags caused by the Williams of first Russell and then Latifi. The AMR21's pace didn't seem that competitive, but the Canadian had a chance of finishing in the top ten.

“It's a real shame that the red flags prevented us from making Q3 – Stroll said. I was doing a better lap than the previous one and I think that would have been enough to get me through the cut. The rhythm was there, so I'm sorry I couldn't fully demonstrate it. Even though the result isn't what we hoped for, I'm looking forward to qualifying next year because it's so much fun to drive here. From twelfth position on the grid we can still fight for points. I don't expect many overtaking in the race, so getting a good start and executing the strategy as best as possible will be fundamental."
