F1 | Aston Martin, anonymous Sprint Race for Stroll
The Canadian on the seventh row: "It will be a long race"
Completely anonymous Sprint Race for Lance Stroll. The Aston Martin driver finished in fourteenth position, gaining only one mainly due to Perez's exit. A seventh row therefore in the home Grand Prix at Silverstone, but seeing how good Vettel did between Friday and Saturday, the Canadian can certainly complain. The aim is to at least reach the top ten and try to score some points.
“We made up some ground in the Sprint, but we are still looking for the optimal balance of the car – Stroll admitted. It was difficult to recover positions, I was part of a long train of cars. The positive aspect is that the mini race gives us more relevant data to examine in order to try to improve. It's going to be a long ride; anything can happen and the heat will be a determining factor, as will the free choice of tyres, so I'm eager to get back in the car and stronger."
