F1 | Aston Martin in points with Stroll and Vettel in Qatar

Aston Martin returned to the points with both cars. In the Qatar Grand Prix, Stroll took sixth position after a great race in which he was very good at managing the tires and containing the Ferraris' comeback at the end. Vettel finished in tenth place, but he certainly had the pace to stay with his teammate, a shame about the problem he had at the start which forced him to make a comeback after qualifying on the fifth row.

“Sunday's race was complex from a technical point of view, and I want to pay tribute to the riders for their brilliant driving – said Otmar Szafnauer, Aston Martin team principal. In particular, Lance managed the wear of the tires and the pressure from the Ferraris superbly to finish in sixth place, he was the absolute protagonist of the race. Sebastian was pushed out at the start by Bottas, and had to go onto the artificial grass to avoid the accident and was therefore seventeenth at the first corner. He drove very well from then on finishing in the points again, and for the first time since Paul Ricard we return with both cars in the top ten."
