F1 | Alpine, Ocon: “I want to score points for the first time in Brazil”

Esteban Ocon returns to racing in Brazil after the 2018 incident, when in an attempt to overtake Max Verstappen, leader of the Grand Prix until then, he crashed into him, ruining both of their races. A lot of time has passed and things have changed, the goal of the Frenchman from Alpine is therefore to return to the points after two races outside the top ten, and also to obtain a positive result for the first time at the José Carlos Pace.

“It's been a few years since the last time in Brazil as far as I'm concerned, I've always liked racing here – Ocon said. The atmosphere is incredible, the Brazilian fans are very passionate, you can feel the legacy left by Ayrton Senna. The ride is short and fast, the weather can reserve some surprises, to which we have to adapt. The Sprint will also be there, it's a good circuit for overtaking, so we'll see what we can do this weekend. While I enjoyed myself at Interlagos, my results here don't show it, so I hope to score my first points in Brazil, also hoping to get into the points after two dry races."
