F1 | AlphaTauri, Yuki Tsunoda in points: “It's my best weekend”

Yuki Tsunoda returns to score points, the only survivor at the Red Bull Ring for AlphaTauri. The Japanese had managed to qualify in eighth place, but a penalty for impeding against Bottas in Q3 relegated him to eleventh. Tsunoda recovers some positions in the early stages of the race, while in the second part he fights for ninth place with Fernando Alonso's Alpine. In the end he is tenth at the finish line.

"Compared to last week it's a good step forward and I'm happy to have finished in the points today. I want to thank the team because we have worked very well in the last few weeks: to be in the top ten today is really positive – declared the Japanese – I think there was the potential to even finish in P8 or P9, but we have to analyze everything a bit and work hard in view of next week. I think this has been my most consistent weekend so far and I have to say that overall I'm satisfied. It was a real shame for Pierre today, but the car has pace and, therefore, we just need to put everything together for the next race. Now I have some interesting activities planned together with AlphaTauri and Red Bull, after which we will start preparing for the second race here in Austria".
