F1 | AlphaTauri, Gasly penalized: “I apologize to Lance”

Weekend to forget for Pierre Gasly. Since Friday, the Frenchman hasn't been very satisfied with the AT03, with some problems that even forced him to miss a free practice session. Starting from the fourteenth spot on the grid, Pierre attempted to climb up the ladder, but without success. First, a contact with Hamilton damaged his front wing at the start; then, another with Lance Stroll's Aston Martin, halfway through the race, in turn one, also earned him a five-second penalty, served at the pit stop. A decidedly unlucky weekend for Gasly, who finished the race outside the points in thirteenth position.

"I'm very disappointed, it's very frustrating. There was a small contact at the start which damaged my car and from there I no longer had any pace, we lost grip and slid everywhere. I take responsibility for the incident with Stroll, I was pushing the limit, and I want to apologize to Lance for that – admitted Pierre – we tried everything, but in the end we couldn't do much".
