F1 | Alonso: “The priority now is the third title in Formula 1”
"I'm happy to be competing again, the only thing missing is being competitive"
The current situation of Fernando Alonso can be defined a little confusing: the performances in McLaren are struggling to take off, bad luck befell him even during the 500 miles to Indianapolis, his future is still too uncertain and the Spaniard's goals want to aim high, without however having concrete practical support on his side. Alonso he very often seemed too disappointed, angry, frustrated and dull, without his usual energy and energy. My second priority was to live the Indy 500 experience and I managed to do that,” she said in an interview with the newspaper The Mail On Sunday. “I'm happy to be back racing, the only thing missing is being competitive: that's all you can ask for as a driver, and it's frustrating not to be”
Then a detail about his experience a Indianapolis: “When I went to Indy I realized what a completely different environment it is and the people respected me a lot. At the age of 17 or 18 I was traveling in my father's van to races in Italy. I could have worked in a supermarket back home at Oviedo. And now I come to America and people follow me everywhere,” he commented, happy with the support of all the public everywhere in the world.
