F1 | Alonso at the last race in the Circus: “Return? If I were bored on the sofa..."

The one held yesterday on the Yas Marina Circuit was the last race of Fernando Alonso in Formula One. In fact, the Spaniard, who finished the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 11th place, said goodbye to the Circus after 18 seasons diverting their attention to new motoring challenges.

Alonso's farewell to the top class could only be a goodbye, even if the person concerned has at the moment downplayed the rumors about a possible return in the next few years: "I wouldn't need any message or signal to return”, he underlined to the Spanish broadcaster Movistar -.

"The idea is that that race was the last in Formula One, then clearly if I were to miss it and get bored on the sofa I would consider a return – added the Spaniard -. It's not something current, we'll see what happens later".
