F1 | Allison on Mercedes' 2022 season: “It's a great opportunity for redemption”

Through a short interview published on the official Mercedes YouTube channel, James Allison spoke about the spirit and determination with which the world champion team is approaching the new sporting regulations for the 2022 season, underlining how the common intention in Brackley is that to respond to last year's crushing defeat at the hands of Max Verstappen's Red Bull.

Despite the many successes from 2014 to today, in Mercedes there is still a great desire to fight and win, even with totally different rules compared to those adopted to date, an aspect that is pushing every member of the team to give 100% .

“It's not unique to Mercedes to be enthusiastic about a regulation, but it's something I can speak to from personal experience of having been part of this team,” stated the English Engineer. “I can guarantee that the arrival of a new technical regulation in Brackley is faced with great enthusiasm and desire to do things. We see these innovations as an opportunity to demonstrate that we have not only been lucky over the years, but that we have knowledge and talent behind us. We didn't stumble upon some sort of magic formula that gave us some divine right, but we dominated thanks to our work."
