F1 | Alarm returned to Force India: Perez confirmed on the podium
No penalties for the Mexican driver
di Roberto ValentiApril 29, 2018
With a press release published by the FIA a few seconds ago, Charlie Whiting confirmed the third place achieved by Sergio Perez in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, the fourth round of the 2018 Formula One world championship. The Mexican was called to race direction for improper use of the DRS system after the restart from the safety car regime, but, according to what was reported in the press release, this would have been caused by the many electronic telemetry problems that characterized today's race . The alarm has therefore been lifted, with Force India able to easily celebrate a highly unexpected third place during this world weekend in Baku.
