F1 | Alfa Romeo Sauber, Leclerc and Ericsson hope to have better luck in Mexico

Alfa Romeo Sauber is looking for a bit of luck after the last two certainly not exciting weekends. Despite the point gained by Ericsson in Austin due to the disqualification of Magnussen and Ocon, the Hinwil team had to deal with accidents that effectively put Leclerc out of action both in Suzuka and at COTA, both with Haas, once Magnussen in fact and the other Grosjean. The Monegasque therefore has the opportunity to immediately redeem himself at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, while Ericsson is preparing to contest the third to last race of his Formula 1 career (at least until now).

“The Mexican Grand Prix is a very interesting race, since everything is different from usual – Leclerc said. We are at quite a high altitude, so it will be difficult to drive both for the cars and physically for us drivers. I can't wait, let's hope to recover after the misfortunes of the last two races. We have some chances to score more points this season and we will push to bring home positive results."

“Racing in Mexico is exciting – Ericsson said. The fans are fantastic and always add magic to the track. The circuit is interesting and the cars have little grip due to the high altitude, which makes everything unique. Aside from Austin, it's been a while since I've scored points, so I'll try to achieve that and work hard to get a good performance this weekend.”
