F1 | Alfa Romeo, Giovinazzi: “We will work hard to achieve our goals”

It was apparently not a positive day for Antonio Giovinazzi, who in Monza was unable to go beyond seventeenth position after the two free practice sessions on Friday. The driver from Martina Franca is called to redemption after the success in Spa, and on his home track, surrounded by the affection of the fans, he knows that something more is needed to be able to compete for the top ten, but also seeing the day by Raikkonen, evidently at Alfa Romeo they will have to work overnight to find the necessary performance, even if the Apulian is not so defeatist.

“Conditions were not ideal today – Giovinazzi said. The rain made everything a little more difficult, but in the end it was the same for everyone, and it was nice to do some laps in the wet. It will be interesting to see what the weather will be like tomorrow and Sunday, but our focus will not change: we just have to work to achieve our goals. Qualifying will once again be tight, and we will do everything we can to find the best set-up this evening, with the aim of achieving a good result in qualifying."
