Still zero points in the standings for Antonio Giovinazzi. The Alfa Romeo Racing driver from Puglia was forced to start from the back of the grid due to the ten-place penalty imposed on him for replacing the control unit. Giovi tried to move up the rankings but was unable to go beyond twelfth place, bringing home the fourth consecutive "zero" of the season.

“It was an exciting race – Giovinazzi said. We started seventeenth on the grid due to the ten place penalty and I lost too much time in the first stint, so I got stuck in traffic. It's a shame because I had a good race pace but unfortunately there wasn't a Safety Car, so I couldn't challenge anyone for a top ten place. Now I have to concentrate and continue working for the Barcelona race."
