F1 | Alfa Romeo C42, Bottas: “Impressed by this car”

With the discovery of the new livery, Alfa Romeo has completed the calendar of presentations regarding the cars that will take part in the 2022 Formula 1 season. One of the new features is certainly the presence of Valtteri Bottas driving the Swiss car. The Finn, coming from the winning Mercedes, must certainly immerse himself in a different reality, and will certainly have to adapt to the performance of a car that will most likely struggle to constantly fight for the podium.

“I am impressed by the new car, the C42 – Bottas said. I think the livery is really beautiful, Alfa Romeo Centro Stile did a great job. It's my first car in this team, and that makes it special and I can't wait to be on the starting grid in Bahrain with it. The exciting thing is that we have no idea how that first race will turn out. The tests helped us confirm our expectations and the progress made with the car, but now we are approaching the crucial moment, the one that really matters. Since I arrived here I have seen a lot of motivation in the team, everyone is pushing, trying to work harder than the others to be competitive, and this gives me that extra push when I'm inside the car."
