F1 | Alfa Romeo: good comeback by Raikkonen, but not enough for the points

Kimi Raikkonen regrets his eleventh position in the Styrian Grand Prix. The Alfa Romeo Racing driver, who started eighteenth, was the author of a half comeback, with a race pace that was decidedly better than expected, but his race ended only on the edge of the points zone. Two sides of the same coin therefore for the 2007 champion, certainly satisfied with his personal performance, decidedly less so with regards to the ranking.

“Another ten laps and we probably could have got some points, but unfortunately that wasn't the case – declared Kimi at the end of the race. I think we did the best we could, considering our starting position. The strategy was the right one, we had a good race pace and the car was working well. I made a good start and won some good battles, only the points were missing. We will try to improve on Saturday next weekend so as to have a better chance for Sunday."
