F1 | Alfa Romeo, Bottas and Zhou stuck at the back

There are still many difficulties forAlfa Romeo ad Interlagos. The only glimmer of light is the entry into Q2 of Valtteri Bottas, which then starts from the fourteenth square. An advantage that will be of little use in the race: the Finn immediately loses positions and the high temperatures will not allow him to attempt a comeback: he finishes in nineteenth position.

“It was a complicated day, we didn't have the pace we expected, especially towards the end of the Sprint; it was difficult to tackle those corners with overheated tyres. I think our difficulties stem from the conditions of the plate and I really hope that the temperatures will be lower in the race. My race was compromised at the start, I tried to recover, but I got stuck in turn two and wasn't able to recover on the straight. We tried to fight it out in the first corners, but nothing: it was a frustrating race, it seemed like it was much more than twenty-four laps. However, we won't give up, we will try again in the race."

He manages to do something at the end Zhou Guangyu, eighteenth at the start: the Chinese gets stuck in a train of DRS and only gains one position.

“We made some improvements in terms of speed compared to Friday and we were a little closer to our rivals, although not enough. Unfortunately I got stuck in a train of DRS and only managed to gain a few positions towards the end. In the race we can still fight for it: the weekend is proving to be incredibly complicated for us and starting from the back is not ideal. However, we will analyze the data to try to find that something extra that can improve our performance. There could be several battles in the race and we are determined for the race."
