F1 | Alfa Romeo, Antonio Giovinazzi is thirteenth: "What a disappointment"

Complicated race for Antonio Giovinazzi, who finished the Silverstone Grand Prix in thirteenth position. It was a complicated weekend for the Italian driver, who on Friday in the traditional qualifying sessions made his way to Q2, placing fourteenth. In the first Sprint Race Qualifying in history, Antonio fails to impose himself, on the contrary, he loses a position by slipping to the eighth row. In the race he tries to recover positions, but without success.

"It was a long race and not even that exciting for me, we had a good pace but we weren't able to show it at the right moments – explained the pilot from Martina Franca – we were ahead of Tsunoda before the break, but then I got stuck behind Russell and couldn't get away. It's really difficult to overtake on this track, and it's disappointing to see that Yuki managed to finish in the points instead. We will learn from our mistakes and then focus on Hungary. It's a track with slow corners and long straights, it should suit our car better".
