F1 | Alesi: “Sainz and Leclerc are easier to manage”

Last year, at a certain point in the season, the Ferrari team principal found himself having to manage the tension between Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc. According to former Formula 1 driver Jean Alesi, the Maranello team made the right choice in focusing on the young Carlos Sainz:

“Now they have two young and very professional drivers. From what I understand, Carlos is working very hard and has gained a lot of experience at McLaren and Renault. It comes from two teams that have a lot of experience in training drivers.", said the Frenchman to Sky Sports F1 .

The tension we mentioned earlier between Vettel and Leclerc then culminated in the contact during the Brazilian Grand Prix. Regarding this, the Frenchman believes that there will be no problems between Leclerc and Sainz:

"It will be easier for Ferrari to keep these two drivers under control. When you have a world champion in your team, who is very charismatic, it is difficult to train him according to the team's wishes.".
