F1 2020 | A first look at the Zandvoort virtual circuit [VIDEO]

The British company Codemasters, developer of the F1 2020 video game, has published a virtual lap of the Zandvoort circuit (which was supposed to host the Grand Prix this weekend, ed.). As you well know, the race has been postponed to a later date due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The CEO of the Dutch event, Jan Lammers, had previously said he was against holding the race behind closed doors, but has now taken a step back but nothing has yet been decided. Since the Netherlands returns to the Formula 1 world championship after 35 years, the organizers wanted to provide an unforgettable show in front of the fans, around one million of them, according to ticket sales.

The first opening race, barring further changes due to the pandemic, should take place in July, with the Austrian Grand Prix.
