Ferrari performance on the streets of Rio de Janeiro

It was a memorable Sunday just spent in Rio de Janeiro by Felipe Massa, who took to the track on the route created along the streets of Aterro do Flamengo, an area north of the city, to give life to the first edition of a one-of-a-kind motoring show .

Arriving yesterday in the Carioca capital to take part in the presentation press conference, today the Brazilian driver inaugurated the extraordinary event organized by TNT - the energy drink brand, Official Sponsor of Scuderia Ferrari - by opening a parade made up of twenty-seven Prancing Horse cars aboard a Ferrari California and then performed a double series of demonstration laps at the wheel of an F10, the single-seater with which the Maranello team participated in the Formula 1 World Championship in 2010. “It was truly incredible to drive along the streets of Rio for such a special event, in front of an audience accustomed to seeing me only at the end of the season on the occasion of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. The emotion I felt and all the support I felt around me will be an extra motivation to start the Championship well!” declared Felipe at the end of the event, before embarking on the journey that will take him to Australia, for the inaugural round of the 2013 World Championship. “At the end of the straight there was a very fast corner which allowed me to push hard and come close to 300 kilometers per hour.
