Eddie Irvine: in court for a fight with the son of the ex-mayor of Milan

The ex-Ferrari and Jaguar driver Eddie Irvine he will soon be involved in a court trial in Milan.
The newspaper La Repubblica reports that the dispute concerns a fight in 2008 in a club between the Irishman and Gabriele Moratti, the son of the ex-mayor of Milan Letizia Moratti.
Their respective lawyers announced this week that negotiations to reach a settlement have failed, and that the first witnesses will be called in court on January 30, 2012.
Irvine, 46, claims he was punched in the head in a fight over a girl, while Moratti claims he got a glass in the face.
