Ecclestone "teasing" Mosley about F2 costs

Bernie Ecclestone has also expressed strong doubts about the possibility that the FIA will be able to relaunch Formula 2 as a new training series at particularly low costs. After the meeting two weeks ago of the World Motor Sport Council of the international federation, the intention to create a category competing with GP2009 from 2 with an annual budget per car of around 200.000 euros was made official: "A karting season costs more '" – said F1 rights manager Ecclestone through Car engine and sport – "Maybe they are thinking of using mower engines, but would something like this really be a preparatory series for Formula 1?".
