Ecclestone: “The German GP? We're trying to save him."

While it's not officially off the calendar yet, it always seems tougher than the German Grand Prix will be able to take place regularly in 2015. The owner of Formula 1 confirmed that everything would be done to save the race, which should have been held at the Nurburgring while Hockenheim has its own contract with the highest category of motor racing until 2016. The final decision, however, has not yet been made.

“In Germany we have two circuits who have a contract with Formula 1. Let's wait and see even if the situation is not the best – the 84-year-old confided to Reuters – We are trying to save the Formula 1 Grand Prix with all our means but seems unlikely that the race can take place. What I can say is that we are doing our best, the intention is not to lose the race,” she concluded.
