Ecclestone agrees on the Rome GP

The organizer Maurizio Flammini is convinced that Bernie Ecclestone also approves the idea of bringing Formula One to the Italian capital, exactly in the EUR district of the city. Confirming the hypothesis is the fact that the owner of the commercial rights of the sport sent one of his favorite architects to Rome, namely the very famous track designer Hermann Tilke.
Flammini, promoter of the Superbike World Championship, explained to La Gazzetta dello Sport: "We have the approval of the municipality of Rome, the region, the province and also of Ecclestone", he also outlined a sum for the cost of the project, which revolves around 150 million euros and the debut date which should be between 2011-2012.
