DTM | Paffett: “We will find a more complete Wehrlein than in 2015”

He was still very young when he won the championship in the DTM: there was a lot of pressure on his shoulders and there were also several accidents which did not help him. But he confessed that he has changed a lot in the last two years: I think he is a more complete person and rider since he won the championship. I think people will see a different Pascal than he is, he left at the end of 2015.".

Following the victory in the DTM, Wehrlein enjoyed a two-year parenthesis in Formula 1: in 2016 with the Manor and in 2017 with the Clean. This year, the absence of available seats forced him to fall back on the German Touring Car championship: he will race again with Mercedes, together with Gary Paffett, Paul Di Resta, Lucas Auer and Edoardo Mortara. The 21-year-old German, however, will not completely abandon the Circus: in fact, he will play the role of third driver for the Star.
