Domenicali: “Important weeks for FOTA”

These are important weeks for the future of FOTA. After last Sunday's meeting, which took place in the Ferrari hospitality facility at the Yeongam circuit, the Team Principals of the eleven teams that are part of the association will meet in Abu Dhabi where the penultimate Grand Prix of the season will take place.

There it will be understood whether it will be possible to find a lasting agreement on some fundamental issues such as the RRA (Resource Restriction Agreement) but also on the prospects of the maximum expression of motor racing. “FOTA has played an extraordinary role in recent years: the results that have been achieved have allowed this sport to face the global crisis effectively” – said Stefano Domenicali.

“The impetus given by the Montezemolo presidency has been carried forward with commitment and dedication by Martin Whitmarsh, who is doing an excellent job. It is clear that, at this point, however, we need to understand how we want to move forward without giving rise to suspicions and controversies that are always present in such a competitive environment as Formula 1."
