Domenicali: “Thanks Felipe, welcome back Kimi”

After liquidation at the end of 2009 to advance Fernando Alonso e Santander la Ferrari he decided to retrace his steps and a few years later he wanted to call home Kimi Räikkönen to make it stay at least a couple of seasons.

Here is the message that appeared on Maranello's official website with the words of the sporting director Stefano domenicali: “I want to thank Felipe with all my heart, also on behalf of our fans around the world, for the extraordinary work he has done for the team over all these years. He has always behaved as a true team man, together we have experienced beautiful and dramatic moments that have created a truly unique human and professional relationship. He will always be part of our family and we send him special wishes for his future. However, now we must remain focused with all our strength on the remaining seven races. Having said that, I am pleased to welcome Kimi back to the team with which he became World Champion. I felt he was extremely happy to return to Maranello and very determined to tackle the job that awaits him in the best way."
