Di Resta at McLaren? For now, change manager

The World Cup isn't over yet but the market is starting to come alive. For now only in words, nothing is certain yet, but an interesting movement on the axis is emerging McLaren-Mercedes.

If Lewis Hamilton, in fact, were to join the German team as the rumors suggest, the Woking team would have to look around for a replacement who could have the appearance of Paul di Resta.

The driver Force India, in fact, became part of the management of Sport Partenership by Richard Goddard, a holding company in which we also find Jenson Button which has Goddard as its manager.

“We talked about this scenario, about having another driver at the Sport Partenership. I trust Richard and James blindly (Williamson, press officer, ed.). For me it's a great idea, it's nice to have another driver involved. He has to be reliable, but also talented and who he can work with, in a certain sense.", declared the 2009 world champion who, however, does not comment on the possibilities of di Resta joining McLaren.

“This is not for me to say, his management will take care of it. I don't look after his interests, I don't want to talk about this. I spend a lot of time with Paul, we train together, we go cycling in the south of France and I get on well with him. I believe he has talent and a good head on his shoulders, a fundamental requirement for him to approve the management of a pilot by the company”he concluded.

If you consider that Force India has given the go-ahead for the possible departure of its drivers towards large teams, the fantasy market is open.
