Di Resta is convinced of the work done in winter
Force India had focused on finding the balance between car and tyres
Paul di Resta he is convinced that the choice made during the winter tests by Force India to focus everything on the analysis of the tires by simulating the race situation as much as possible to seek perfect harmony between the tires and the car, was successful. In fact, despite the wheel nut mix-up that occurred in Malaysia which forced both the Scotsman and Adrian Sutil to retire, the Indian team has so far proven to be one of the most consistent in the group.
“I think that the decision made this winter to sacrifice performance to favor runs with a full fuel load proved to be optimal – he stated to Autosport – We were perfectly aware of what we wanted to obtain from the car and I believe that what was recorded in the first two GP is proof that we were right, especially with regards to the tire management problem that everyone is talking about and which we have solved for the moment."
