With an intense two days of testing on the Valencia circuit, Pedro de la Rosa inaugurated his new experience as a Pirelli tester, driving a Toyota TF109, covering approximately 650km. Enthusiastically, he made his first statements as a Pirelli man.

“I'm excited to try these new tires and working with Pirelli is a huge honor for me. We can say that we have clearer ideas for the future and we worked really well completing the work we had set ourselves."

Paul Hembery, Pirelli's director of motorsports, added: “Thanks to the rain, we managed to get the first results on our tires in both dry and wet conditions and we are very satisfied” – he said – “l Pedro de la Rosa's experience was extremely useful to us and we hope to continue this adventure of ours with dignity to return to Milan, at the headquarters, with all the data we were waiting for".

Pirelli will continue its tests in Barcelona, ​​on the Montmelò circuit at the end of the month.
