De la Rosa proud of Sauber in Hungary

Pedro de la Rosa is beaming after qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The Spaniard took ninth position on the grid with a great performance.

“I'm happy with my performance but, more importantly, I'm very proud of the team. The car was very good. My position demonstrates the progress that the guys at Hinwil have made to this car, especially to make it fast in slow corners. They continued to work with their heads down and succeeded in their aim. Tomorrow I will try to stay out of trouble at the start and then I will certainly fight for the points” declared the Spaniard.

His teammate Kamui Kobayashi set the 18th fastest time but was penalized five places on the grid for ignoring the stewards' call for scrutineering.
